Vindico Medical Education Launches “The Retina Radar, With Dr. Arshad Khanani” Podcast Series
Thorofare, NJ – Vindico Medical Education, A Wyanoke Company, is excited to announce the launch of a podcast series titled “The Retina Radar, With Dr. Arshad Khanani.” The podcasts are available on Vindico Medical Education’s MedEd Talks website or wherever you get your podcasts.
The first 4 episodes of The Retina Radar podcast series are available now, with an additional 2 podcasts to be available over the next 2 months. The series will review advancements in the management of patients with neovascular age-related macular degeneration, diabetic macular edema, diabetic retinopathy, geographic atrophy secondary to age-related macular degeneration, as well as other vitreoretinal diseases. Dr. Khanani and faculty will also discuss new clinical evidence on dosing regimens, delivery systems, emerging therapies, and recent data from clinical trials and real-world evidence. Due to the high interest in this series, more podcasts are being developed for future release.
The Retina Radar podcast series is led by the renowned vitreoretinal specialist Arshad M. Khanani, MD, MA, FASRS, Managing Partner, Director of Clinical Research, and Director of Fellowship at Sierra Eye Associates; and Clinical Associate Professor, University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine. Dr. Khanani founded the clinical research department at Sierra Eye Associates, which is now one of the leading clinical research centers in the country. He has served as principal investigator for more than 100 clinical trials and has been a top enroller in the country for multiple phase 1-3 trials. In addition, Dr. Khanani has been one of the first clinicians to perform surgical procedures in multiple surgical clinical trials dealing with sustained delivery and gene therapy. He has authored or coauthored more than 75 scientific publications.
