Thorofare, NJ – Vindico Medical Education, a Wyanoke Group company, is pleased to announce that “Lessons From 9 Months of Virtual Learning – What It Means for Planning Hybrid Continuing Education,” by Tara Curran, MA, Senior Marketing Manager, and Katie Robinson, PhD, CHCP, Associate Director of Medical Research and Outcomes, was published in Almanac, the online publication of the Alliance for Continuing Education in the Health Professions. This article highlights the varying trends in registration and attendance from in-person education compared with the switch to live virtual education in March 2020. The differences in the observed attendance rates allowed Vindico to tailor marketing strategies to better meet the needs of health care professionals seeking continuing education during the pandemic. The implications of these findings will have significant impact as the continuing education industry enters the era of hybrid education.

Tara received her MA in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Adelphi University, Garden City, NY, and has a BA in Visual Arts and Psychology from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ.
Katie serves as Associate Director, Medical Research and Quality Outcomes. In this role, Katie combines her knowledge of the therapeutic landscape with the educational needs that are revealed by analysis of prior programing and applies them to the continued development of necessary and impactful medical education. Katie received her PhD in Pharmacology from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Baltimore, MD. In 2019, Katie earned Certified Healthcare CPD Professional (CHCP) status from the Alliance for Continuing Education in the Health Professions.
