Vindico Medical Education to Present Poster at ObesityWeek 2026

Thorofare, NJ – Vindico Medical Education, a Wyanoke Group company, is excited to announce that the poster, “Harnessing Continuing Education to Improve Patient-Centered Communication in Obesity Care,” authored by Hannah Collier, Esq; Jennifer Frederick, PharmD; Stephanie Johnson, PhD; and Katie Robinson, PhD, will be presented at ObesityWeek 2026.

The poster presents findings from a live continuing education symposium, supported by an educational grant from Lilly, that featured a From Information to Conversation segment. During the segment, faculty deconstructed real-life conversations between clinicians and patients by utilizing visual thought bubbles projected behind them to show the clinician's clinical reasoning and the patient's perspective and concerns. The symposium provided comprehensive awareness of patient perspectives and communication strategies, contributing to measurable improvements in how attendees planned to discuss weight with their patients. 

“These findings demonstrate the benefit of a novel, interactive CE format that can be used to promote the use of more effective, patient-centered communication strategies in realistic clinical scenarios,” says Katie Robinson, PhD.
