Vindico Medical Education Presentations During Recent Clinical Congresses
Thorofare, NJ – Vindico Medical Education, A Wyanoke Company, had two posters recently presented at clinical congresses.
First, the abstract titled “Addressing Deficiencies in Knowledge and Skills Regarding the Management of Women With Multiple Sclerosis Throughout Their Reproductive Years” was presented during the American Academy of Neurology (AAN) Annual Meeting last week.
The poster highlighted the impact of a case-based, continuing education video series on healthcare professionals’ knowledge and behaviors regarding the care of women with multiple sclerosis throughout reproductive years and menopause.
Data analysis showed that while neurology physicians had low baseline knowledge, they reported high baseline use of the latest evidence-based care. This suggests that although the physicians think they are implementing the latest evidence-based care, they might not be doing so. Postlearning, there was an overall 40% increase in knowledge, and 93% of respondents had implemented improvements in their clinical decision-making for women with multiple sclerosis during pregnancy.
At Digestive Disease Week® (DDW) 2023, Vindico will present the poster titled “Identifying and Addressing Gaps in the Management of Patients With Eosinophilic Esophagitis Via Continuing Medical Education.”
This poster demonstrates limited disease state awareness and a lack of understanding regarding the management of patients with eosinophilic esophagitis among healthcare professionals who care for these patients, which has led to suboptimal clinical decision-making.
“Vindico is thrilled to present at AAN and DDW once again. We will use the findings from the posters to develop future CE programs targeted to appropriate HCP audiences,” said Katie Robinson, PhD, CHCP, Senior Director, Outcomes and Analytics, Vindico Medical Education.
